Dejanu overview
About Dejanu Dejanu is a secure Remote Browser Isolation (RBI) platform that runs the organization’s browser in an isolated, ephemeral container away from the user’s device. Users only see a live, interactive stream of the browser; web code, JavaScript, suspicious files, and malware never reach the endpoint. In traditional web security models, tools such as firewalls, EDR, SWG, or SASE can filter part of the traffic, but active web code still executes on the user’s laptop or workstation. Dejanu removes that risk point: the browser runs in the organization’s or cloud’s secure infrastructure, only pixels and user commands cross the boundary, and after each session the container is destroyed. Dejanu is built for organizations that need more than lower infection risk—they need reliable audit evidence, strict file and clipboard controls, multi-tenant policy, and accurate chargeback of real consumption. Every session can be recorded, every file scanned before it crosses the security boundary, and CPU, RAM, bandwidth, and storage measured per user, unit, or tenant. The product works in two main modes. Open RBI supports secure, isolated web browsing for staff; users can browse according to policy without web threats reaching their devices. MOAT mode applies when a user should only access one specific web application—the browser is locked to one URL or app, with no new tabs, address bar, or navigation outside the allowed scope. Dejanu fits sensitive enterprises, external contractors, outsourced teams, SaaS systems, internal portals, contact centers, and regulated processes—where the organization needs a smooth experience close to a normal browser plus full control, observability, and non-repudiation over sessions.
Key modules
Capabilities are packaged modularly so deployment, expansion, and maintenance stay simple.
Isolated browser execution
Each browser session runs in a temporary container separate from the user device to block malware propagation paths
Interactive WebRTC streaming
Live browser video and low-latency user input for an experience close to a native browser
Session recording
Record and retain session video for audit, quality control, dispute handling, and compliance
File scan and DLP
Control upload and download, filter MIME types, and scan files with ClamAV and optionally VirusTotal
Clipboard control
Independent policies for copy-in and copy-out to prevent data leaving or entering outside organizational rules
MOAT mode
Lock the browser to one web application—no new tabs, no address bar, no navigation outside the allowed scope
Enterprise identity integration
SSO, OIDC, OAuth2, LDAP, and Active Directory for centralized access control
Device binding with mTLS
Bind sessions to approved devices via client certificates so stolen passwords alone are not enough
Zero Trust policies
Domain, time, IP and network limits, daily usage caps, and concurrent session restrictions
Multi-tenant billing
Measure CPU, RAM, bandwidth, traffic, and storage for accurate chargeback across units
Cloud or on-premises deployment
Deploy on Docker and Kubernetes in public cloud, private cloud, on-prem data centers, or air-gapped environments
S3-compatible storage
Store session recordings and audit evidence on S3, MinIO, or compatible stores with automatic retention policies
